His experience also includes professorships at SDM College of Engineering and Technology, Dharwad; Rao Bahadur Y. Mahabaleswarappa Engineering College, Bellary; and B.V.B. College of Engg. & Technology, Hubli. Dr. Bhavikatti has authored over 60 technical papers and 24 books in civil engineering, and supervised 66 M.Tech theses and 5 PhD candidates. He has also participated in international seminars in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan. He is a member of numerous professional organizations.
