About the Author

Professor ABM Abdullah, a distinguished figure in medical education, holds the esteemed position of Professor of Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His extensive experience as a clinical teacher, responsible for the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students across various specialties, deeply informs his writing. Professor Abdullah is a prolific author with a significant body of published work, including 28 research articles in diverse academic journals. His contributions to medical literature are highlighted by two widely acclaimed books published by Elsevier: the present title, Short Cases in Clinical Medicine, and Radiology in Medical Practice. He has also authored three other essential medical texts: ECG in Medical Practice, Case History and Data Interpretation in Medical Practice, and Long Cases in Clinical Medicine. Currently, Professor Abdullah serves as the elected Dean of the Faculty of Medicine at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University. Beyond academic texts, he is dedicated to public health education, frequently contributing articles on common medical issues to daily newspapers and recently publishing a book in Bengali.
