He is the Secretary of the Institutional Review Board and Board of Studies in SRM Dental College. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of SRM Journal of Research in Dental Sciences and editorial board member in many international journals. He has published several scientific papers in national and international journals of repute. He has a PhD degree in Serum and Salivary Biomarkers in Oral Cancer to his credit. Dr R. Ramya, MDS, Dip. in Tobacco Control, PhD, is Professor & Head, Department of Oral Biology, Saveetha Dental College, Chennai. She was a gold medalist in her postgraduate programme. She is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Orofacial Biology. She has published several scientific papers in national and international journals.
