Buy Man’s Search For Meaning: The Classic Tribute To Hope From The Holocaust | Must Read Classics By Victor E. Frankl 2nd hand books, Authored by victor e. frankl in paperback binding from Used Book Store.
Before the war, Viktor Frankl, a prominent Viennese psychiatrist, observed how he and fellow Auschwitz inmates coped. He noted that those who comforted others and shared their meager possessions survived longest, demonstrating that our attitude remains even when everything else is lost. A prisoner’s character stemmed from internal decisions, not solely camp conditions. Those who maintained their moral and spiritual selves resisted the camp’s dehumanizing effects, transforming suffering into inner triumph. Frankl concluded that the deepest human desire is to find meaning and purpose. This book provides a path to transcend suffering and discover significance in life.
