Charles Mulli’s life began in hardship when, at age six, he awoke to find himself abandoned by his parents. He endured a difficult childhood, begging for food and grappling with past abuse and uncertainty. As a teenager, a turning point came when he dedicated his life to Christ at a crusade, sparking a journey of faith and a desire to help vulnerable children. Years later, Charles achieved remarkable success in business, gaining recognition even from the President of Kenya and becoming a leader within the Church. However, the needs of Kenya’s growing population of street children weighed heavily on his heart, echoing his own childhood experiences. Driven by a profound conviction, Charles made the life-altering decision to sell all his possessions and devote himself to rescuing these children from the slums. He faced numerous obstacles – corruption, spiritual opposition, and financial strain – in his mission to offer them hope. This led to the founding of Mully Children’s Family, established by Charles and Esther Mulli to care for street children, abandoned children, and orphans. Father to the Fatherless is the inspiring true story of a man who journeyed from poverty to wealth and ultimately to selfless service, challenging readers to consider the true meaning of sacrifice and devotion to others.
