About the Author

T. Thyagarajan is Professor and Head of EEE Dept. in Crescent Engineering College, Chennai. He obtained his B. Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from J.N.T. University, Anantapur, M.E. in Power Engineering from M.S. University, Baroda and Ph.D. from Anna University, Chennai. He has received the National Award for publishing the best research paper. His research interest encompasses drives, process control and automation, neural networks, fuzzy logic and genetic algorithms applied to process control. K.P. Sendur Chelvi is currently working for an IT company in Chennai. She was a Lecturer in Computer Science and Engineering department at Crescent Engineering College, Chennai before moving over to the information technology industry. She is a B.E. in computer Technology and Informatics from Government College of Technology, Coimbatore and M.S. Information Science from Indian National Scientific Documentation Center, New Delhi. Her current areas of specialization are Internet/Internet/E-commerce technologies, enterprise systems management and telecom and networking. T.R. Rangaswamy is currently working as Electrical Operation Engineer in Power and Desalination plant, Abudhabi, UAE. He obtained his B.E. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Government College of Technology Coimbatore and M.E. in Applied Electronics from CIT, Coimbatore.
